Safety Patrol

Safety PatrolSchool Safety Patrol program was organized in 1920 by the American Automobile Association. Citizens, civic groups and law officers were concerned about children's safety with the rise of motorized vehicles. Established in San Diego in 1935, School Safety Patrol has ensured children make it to school safely.

5th grade Walker Eagles have been guarding the safety of people crossing to & from Walker Elementary. Every morning and afternoon patrol members need to arrive early and stay late to ensure that all students can cross the street safely. It takes hard work and dedication to join the safety patrol.
